METAVERSE - type that uses aesthetic means to reflect on type. A third kind of writing that contributes to the preservation of its own social system by importing reflexive strategies from art: radical painting, aesthetic deconstructivism, art critical of institutions, context art.

In his own metaverse, Michel Balke explores new dimensions in which writing always serves as a signpost. It contains 175 drawings, 80 sculptures and 98 scans of paintings on concrete with photographic accompaniment by Jan Schneidereit. The catalog raisonné comprises 428 pages, is numbered, signed and limited to 50 copies.
