Fundamentals is a return to the origins of graffiti, in its most primitive and minimalist state. Through an abstract and synthetic language, resulting from a real dialogue between the artist and the city, Tilt and Craig Costello highlight the clandestine culture that allowed the rise of this artistic movement.

Textures, graffiti artists’ movements, speed, pure colors playing with contrasts and raw materials are honored in a flashback that celebrates the constituent elements of graffiti. By surveying walls around the world, these two artists have been nourished by their encounters and their environment, have left their mark and have become legendary.
